Support for our Ram Family Members
Kaitlynn and Doug Kraemer, two of our high school math teachers, are sharing their story here: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/beautifuldorothy regarding their family journey to support their beautiful daughter Dorothy, recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Their almost two year old has started treatment. Robinson is in the process of organizing a Go For the Gold fundraising event to support the Kraemers. We know that our Robinson family wants to show support.
Please use this link to access 3 ways to help: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/beautifuldorothy/support
Please send your thoughts and prayers to the entire family. We are grateful to our staff members who have stepped up to cover classes, organize meals and gift card collection, and expressed their love and support.

Hello HS Students and Families:
HS students, do you enjoy reading? Are you interested in joining the HS book club?
Please complete THIS Google Form HS Book Club Survey to express interest in the 2021-2022 HS Book Club!
We plan to meet once a month, after school on Thursday, to talk about what we are reading, share titles, and enjoy some time together. Club members may select the same book to read OR select the same genre. This club is student-led, so the reading list, discussion topics, etc. will be shaped by club members' ideas and interests.
Our first meeting will be on 10/28/2021, after school in the library; participating students will be invited to our HS Book Club Schoology group during the meeting.
If you have any questions visit THIS website: Robinson Media Center or contact Mrs. Reakes Smith at KLReakesSmit@fcps.edu
Happy Reading!

Important Updates Regarding the Service Learning Cord for Class of 2022 Seniors and End-of-Year X2VOL Deadlines
By: Barb Caley
Due to the recent challenges of the pandemic, the service hour criteria for the service learning cord has been modified for the Class of 2022 cohort. Class of 2022 seniors who accumulate 20 hours or more of service learning are qualified to receive an FCPS service learning cord as a special recognition at graduation. It is important to note that this 50% reduction in service hour criteria for the service learning cord is for high school seniors graduating in 2022. The service learning cord criteria remains unchanged for future graduating cohorts. The service learning cord is also a separate recognition opportunity from the diploma seals (i.e. Civics Seal, Science and the Environment Seal) which the Virginia Department of Education issues guidance on.
In addition, the x2VOL End-of-Year (EOY) deadlines have been recently announced. The deadline when all service hours must be approved in x2VOL for 12th grade students is May 2, 2022.
