Positivity Project P2
Character Strength of the Week: Integrity
“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” -BOB MARLEY
Dranesville families can learn more about this character strength by accessing the P2 character card in our Dranesville Parent Schoology Course.
Parents: In light of the paving on Powells Tavern through October 22nd, we wanted to remind everyone of our Kiss and Ride procedures. If you need a new car placard, please call the main office and we will send one home with your child.
- Pull forward as far as possible in the designated Kiss & Ride lane before loading or unloading.
- Do not park in the parking lot or on the street and call for your children.
- Load and unload from the passenger side of the car only.
- Remain in the driver’s seat.
- Do not pass other cars that are loading or unloading.
- Cell phone use is prohibited in the Kiss & Ride lane.
- Right turns only onto Powells Tavern.
Impact Aid Survey Coming Soon
Returning this form is important because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.
Please be on the lookout for the form coming home with your child on Tuesday, October, 19th. We need you to complete the pre-printed form for each student enrolled in your household. Please complete, sign, and date each form and have your student return their form to their classroom teacher.
If sections 1 and 2 of the survey do not apply to you, just check the boxes in Section 3. All forms must be signed, dated, and returned by November 5.
All results are confidential.
