Class of 2022 All Night Grad Party (ANGP) Committee Seeking Volunteers:

Dear Class of 2022 Families,

All Night Grad Party (ANGP) celebration is a FCPS sanctioned, Hayfield SS PTSA sponsored event held for graduating seniors. The purpose of this party is to provide a safe and alcohol-free celebration for our students. The ANGP event takes place on graduation night June 2022 (date TBD).

Due to the impact of COVID-19, possible changes to FCPS regulations and unforeseen economic impact this celebration may need to look different for the Class of 2022 - as it did for 2020 and 2021. It will be critical to have many Parent/Guardian volunteers to assist in the planning process for a celebration to be possible. Getting an early start on planning will be important!

ALL NIGHT GRAD PARTY (ANGP) 2022 PARENT VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED

Volunteers form an ANGP Committee and engage in monthly planning, logistics and fundraising – candy sales, car washes, t-shirt sales etc. – throughout the 2021-2022 school year to ensure the end-of-year celebration gets off the ground.

WHERE IS THE ANGP EVENT HELD OR HOW IS IT CELEBRATED?

This is decided by the ANGP2022 Committee.

  • ANGP2021 voted to honor their graduates with a Movie Night on the Lawn - complete with refreshments - and a Class of 2021 blanket
  • ANGP2020 voted to honor their graduates with a photo frame keepsake, Class of 2020 blanket and a gift to the school due to gathering restrictions mandated by the State of VA during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • ANGP2013-ANGP2019 held the event at Adventure Park, USA near Frederick, MD. Students traveled by Motor Coach buses to this location.
  • ANGP2012 was held at Lee District Rec. Center.  Your help is needed to make this celebration a success for the Class of 2022. If you wish to be involved in this special event, please email president@hssptsa.org.
  • Let’s Make This A Great Event for the Class of 2022!

Tom Kinder photographs many Hayfield activities, including many athletic contests.  He posts his pictures at: http://www.hayfieldpictures.com/     Most of the galleries are recent, but some show students and games from more than 10 years ago.
