Monday's Picture Day Postponed

Due to staffing challenges, Life Touch is cancelling the Parklawn Picture Day for Monday, September 20. It will be rescheduled soon. All collected picture money will be saved for the future date.

Kiss and Ride Reminders

K and R

Every day we have almost 250 students dismiss as kiss & Ride and walkers. We are working hard to have students exit in a safe and timely fashion, and we thank families for partnering with us to do so. We ask your support in following the below reminders:

  1. Children should only exit out at the right side/curb side of the vehicle
  2. Adults please remain in your vehicles as staff members support students in joining you
  3. Once your car is loaded, please do pull forward to go around any cars in front of you. We have people using the cross walk, as well as cars ahead of you preparing to pull out of their spots and may not see you.

Thank you for your daily assistance in our safe dismissal procedures!

Positivity Project for September 19-September 25: Teamwork!

P2

WHAT DOES TEAMWORK MEAN?

You work well as a member of a group or team. You are loyal, reliable, and dedicated to helping your team achieve its goals.

We encourage families to discuss how they show teamwork and have their children share times when they saw teamwork in action. You might ask questions such as:

What are some important parts of being a good teammate? Or How does it feel when someone doesn’t use good teamwork?

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.“    -HELEN KELLER
