It was a busy week for Annandale Activities! A 4:00pm football game, two Flag Football practices, Senior Day for Cross Country, and our Activities Fair. We were thrilled to see so many of you out there and participating in all Annandale has to offer.
This week at home we have the Lady Atoms Volleyball team taking on Park View on Monday, Mount Vernon on Thursday and our Varsity Football team taking on Lake Braddock on Friday. Be sure to wear your best tropical outfit for Friday night’s game!

Atoms Athletics Highlights
Our Cross Country teams celebrated Senior Day last week before their meet at Lee District Cross Country Course. Congratulations to our Senior XC members! Madeline Dosen came in first for the Atom girls and Terry Moreno-Valeriano crossed the line first for the Atom boys! Keep up the hard work!

Club Highlight: Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is excited to start meeting on September 29th from 7:15-8:00 AM in the Upper Gym. FCA will meet every other week and is open to everyone. Grab a friend and join them on the 29th! Email Mr. Buschman for additional details at PVBuschman@fcps.edu.

COVID Reminders
Athletes and Parents - Every athlete must fill out the pre-activity form each day. Save the QR code to your phone. When you enter the building, you must wear a mask. Masks are not required for outdoor events. Please bring a 32 oz. water bottle to practices and games. Stay home when you feel sick. All Volleyball fans must wear a mask!

PTSA Wish List - Please Donate
The AHS PTSA Pantry has a back to school wish list for needed items for their distributions. Donations can be dropped off at school during business hours or at the PTSA table this Friday night at the football game. Come to the game to support our Atoms, support the pantry with a donation and learn more about the PTSA. Go Atoms!
