AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY INFORMATION
We are excited to offer in person after school activities. After school activities will officially begin on Wednesday, September 15th and will operate every day from 2:15-5:00 PM. Transportation will be available to students staying after school. Late buses will begin arriving at 4:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, students will need to arrange transportation or walk home as there are no late buses on these days. Please be aware that after school late bus numbers and routes are different from your child's normal school day bus routes. When looking for the late bus number on the transportation website you want to find the LFLR (Longfellow Late Run) bus number. This year we will have an after school activity kickoff party on the front field for students. There will be music, field games, and club sponsors will have tables set up to answer any questions students may have. Students do not need to sign up for clubs except for Debate and Science Olympiad. These clubs require testing and tryouts to join. The Science Olympiad parent meeting for interested parents and students will take place on September 8th from 6:30-8:30 in the Longfellow Library. Information about Debate club will be discussed at their first meeting on Monday September 20th. More clubs might be added prior to the September 15th start date and will be communicated to parents and students.
