Digital Tools Parent Permission 

 

At Forestville, we use a variety of digital tools to support meaningful student learning. Some of these tools require parental consent before they can be used.

 You can find our school’s list of the resources that require parental consent here: Digital Resources at Forestville ES. The tools have been carefully reviewed to ensure that they align with the FCPS Learning Model and FCPS conducts the same technical evaluations for all products that use student information. 

Included on our digital page is also a link to a form where the enrolling parent or guardian will need to indicate whether or not their student is allowed to use the list of digital resources this year. Your child will not be able to use the digital resources until we have received your permission, so the sooner we can get the permission the better!

Office Updates

Please report absences, late arrivals, early dismissals by 9AM at this link https://forestvillees.fcps.edu/about/attendance-form and include specific reasons for absences.

For changes in transportation, submit the form by 11AM at this link https://forestvillees.fcps.edu/early-dismissal-or-change-transportation-form

Schoology Information 

Students, families, and staff throughout FCPS and in our school community will use Schoology (pronounced /SKOO-luh-jee/) as our learning management system. Here is what you need to know now:

  • You need a SIS/ParentVUE account to login to Schoology: http://bit.ly/FCPSSIS
  • Use your SIS/ParentVUE login information to login to Schoology: https://lms.fcps.edu. Look for the FCPS logo to make sure you are on the right login page.
