FCPS Is Returning Strong!

Welcome Back!

Dr. Brabrand Welcome Back Message

Tomorrow’s the big day—we’re Returning Strong! We are back, ready to experience all the great things that come with learning together, five days a week in person.

We can’t wait to see our students arrive at school tomorrow morning. Show off that first-day excitement by posting photos to your favorite social media site and tagging them with #FirstDayFairfax and #FCPSReturningStrong.

Superintendent Brabrand has a special welcome back message for every FCPS student and family.

Top Return to School Questions Answered

Schools are making use of outdoor spaces for meals, classes, and activities to the greatest extent possible. When eating occurs indoors, layered prevention strategies are in place.

You asked: How will the national bus driver shortage affect FCPS students?

FCPS is working hard to address the need for bus drivers and adjust transportation plans for the least impact on students. The top priorities for FCPS transportation are safety and timeliness.

FCPS’ layered prevention strategies are designed to work together to create safe learning environments for all students.
