We are excited to welcome our families and students to our annual Open House tomorrow! Please see the below staggered arrival times by last name. This is an opportunity to tour your classroom, practice arrival/dismissal, and meet your classmates in person while reconnecting with your child's teacher.

Transportation Card
Each Kings Park ES family should receive in the mail a welcome letter that includes a yellow card to help teachers with your child's daily dismissal. We ask that you please fill this out and pin it to your child's backpack for the first day of school. Additional copies of the yellow cards will be available during Open House.
Bus stop and route information was shared last week with families via an FCPS email and is also available on your ParentVue accounts. For more information about bus transportation, including how to access the Bus Delay Notification System, visit the Transportation page.
FCPS is hiring Bus Drivers
FCPS is looking to add to their fleet of Bus Drives for the current school year. Please see this link for more information.

Kings Park ES Arrival and Dismissal
Kings Park ES bell schedule is 8:40am- 3:35pm. Please see the below map that illustrates students arrival and dismissal. Our school doors will open at 8:30am.

Keep in Touch with the PTA. As we move into the new school year, a great way to keep in touch with the PTA is to subscribe to our newsletter and/or join our Facebook group.
Volunteer with the PTA. Keep an eye on the PTA's website for ways to volunteer with the PTA this school year. Including an opportunity this week to help the schools prepare the beginning of the school year folders -- sign up here!
Popsicles on the Playground / Cool Treat Meet and Greet. The Kings Park/Kings Glen PTA is excited to host Back to School meet up opportunities at both Kings Park and Kings Glen on Sunday, August 22. All grade levels at both schools are welcome to join us for a cool treat (and maybe some special guests). See below for the schedule:

- Second grade -- 3:00pm
- Third grade -- 4:00pm
Kings Glen Cool Treat Meet and Greet at Kings Glen:
