Fairhill (in-person) Tours

We are so excited to welcome all of our Tigers back to the building this year! We know it has been awhile (if ever) since some students have been in the building so we are offering group tours to walk around the building with a staff member to help students get re-acclimated to the building. This is strictly a tour of the building to see the main entrance, library, cafeteria, gym, art room, music rooms and all common spaces. Classrooms will not be set up yet so students will be unable to see their classrooms.

The intention of these tours is to support students who spent the past school year in a virtual setting and have been away from Fairhill for a long time. These tours are for rising 1st-6th grade students only and will only last about 15 minutes. Another plan is in the works for our rising Kindergarten tigers so be on the lookout for details coming soon!

When signing up, please put student name and grade in the comment section! (One slot per family, please.)

Please sign up for a slot by clicking here

Please reach out to Mrs. Korb if you have any specific questions!

Custodian photo op

Meet our Custodians!  From left to right: Minh Le,  Maria Henriquez (our Building Supervisor), Nana Bempah, and Jose Damian.

Our Fairhill custodian team has been working around the clock all summer long in preparation for our Tigers to return into the building!  They have done a superb job, both inside the school and outside around the school grounds.  Wave and say "HI" the next time you see them!

News from FCPS

Mask Up!

Masks are an essential tool in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting those unable to be vaccinated. To ensure a safe start to the school year, masks will be required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, inside FCPS school buildings.

With respect to Fall 2021 Health and Safety practices, FCPS will continue to follow the guidance put forth by clinical researchers and medical providers from the CDC, VDH, and the FCHD to ensure the safest classrooms possible. This includes FCPS’ face covering (mask) requirements. Click here for more information.

Buses and Transportation

The CDC federal order requiring masks be worn on public transportation remains in effect and applies to buses operated by Virginia public schools.
