August 7th: New Kindergarten Playdate, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
August 19th: Welcome Back Bash, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
August 23rd: First day of classes for the 2021-22 school year

 To Our Dearest Fairhill Community,
We hope that everyone has been able to relax (at least a little) and enjoy the ease of students not being in school and online for school! The past year and a half has certainly been remarkable and we know that it has taken a toll on our families and overall community. We can't wait to have a fantastic kick off to our in-person school year!!
We are proud to share that we have over 100 Fairhill students attending summer programs in July. We have Bridge to Kindergarten, SOAR, and Young Scholars classes. We are all wearing masks when the students are here and are anticipating this to be the same once the school year starts for students on August 23rd. (More information will be shared soon.)
The FCPS focus for 2021-2022 is relationships, connections and trust. These three pillars form a strong foundation to support the social-emotional health of students, parents, and staff as we return to school. It is our goal that each and every child feel safe, secure, and cared for from day #1, August 23rd.
We will be hosting our Back to School Bash on August 19th as well as our Back to School Bus Tour where staff will be coming to a neighborhood near you! Be on the lookout for more information about these fun events in the coming weeks.
As always, we are a team and we are so excited to welcome everyone back to Fairhill soon. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns or compliments you may have.

Make back to school shopping easy by ordering an EduKit for your Tiger. Each kit contains exactly what your child's teacher has requested for this coming school year. New Student Registrations
Do you have a student who still needs to be registered or know someone who needs to register for this upcoming school year? Please contact Amy Spector at alspector@fcps.edu as soon as possible or pass this information on to your neighbors. We are currently working diligently on class placements and want our community to be assured that students are placed in the best possible classroom match.

Calling all Fairhill Kindergarteners!
Please join us on Saturday, August 7 for a kindergarten playdate. This is a great opportunity for the kids to make a friend before the first day of school and for parents to connect. Click here for more details.
When: Saturday, August 7, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Where: Fairhill Elementary School playground
Please note that the school will not be open so bathrooms will not be available.
