REMINDER: LAPTOP RETURNS

Laptop Return-Virtual Students

Friday, June 11 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.  It will be a quick drive-through process in the bus loop at Silverbrook.  The bus loop won’t be accessible until dismissal is complete at 2:00 pm.  If your child is enrolled in a summer program in FCPS, they WILL NOT turn in their computer on this date, rather they will hold onto their computer until their program is finished.  Some notes about turning in your equipment:

  • Please remember to bring both the laptop and charger.  The charge for any equipment that isn’t returned is $472.00 for the laptop, and $28.00 for the charger.  You will need to pay this by My School Bucks (MSB) by June 16, 2021.
  • Remember to remove any mouse dongles or similar items from the laptop before returning it.
  • Please remove any stickers and extra adhesive left behind from said stickers.
  • Please leave the name card holder on it with the student id card inside of it. 
  • Please wipe down the computer and charger with a Clorox wipe before returning it.
  • 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will not return their carrying cases that came with their laptops.  Please hold on to these as you will use these next year (new ones will not be provided next year).
