Student Materials & Laptop Collection
- As we approach the end of the year we need to collect all textbooks, instructional materials, and school laptops from all students.
- In-person students should return all textbooks and instructional materials to their teachers during their in-person class periods. We will also collect laptops from in-person students on Thursday, June 10th, during 4th period. In-person students may also drop their items off at the main office from the hours of 8:30 - 3:30 on weekdays, if necessary due to scheduling conflicts.
- Virtual students may return their textbooks/instructional materials and laptops on Thursday, June 10th from 4-7 p.m., or stop by the main office from the hours of 8:30 - 3:30 on weekdays.
Guidelines for the collection of laptops
- All SENIORS and/or students leaving JMHS must complete the following steps before turning in their laptops. ALL local files, bookmarks, and programs will be erased.
- All Students Returning to JMHS must complete the following steps before turning in their laptops. All local files and bookmarks must be backed up or they will be erased.
- Laptops must be returned free of stickers, markings and other drawings, or the student will be charged a $50.00 cleaning fee.
- Students should turn in their laptop and charging cord. Students should keep their case, we will not collect cases from students.
- If a student lost their laptop or their laptop cord, they should go to the JMHS Technology page to pay for the lost laptop or cord. Payments will be made through MySchoolBucks. Students should bring a paper receipt from MySchoolBucks with them when they come to laptop collection.
Student Materials Collection Guidelines
- Label each book/textbook/item with the following information on a sticky note:
- Student Name
- Student ID #
- Teacher Name
- Class Period
Collection Dates & Times
- Thursday, June 10th - 4th period (in-person students only)
- Thursday, June 10th - 4:00-7:00 p.m. Please come up James Madison Drive to drop off laptops by Door 11 (Main Gym Entrance). This is a drive through, students will not need to get out of their car (virtual and in-person students).
Summer Orientation
- Madison’s Bridges Orientation program will be open this summer to rising sophomores. This is a great opportunity for students to learn the in’s and out’s of Madison HS. Madison Bridges Orientation Program
