Dear Spring Hill ES Community
As our relationship has always been built on openness and trust, I wanted to let you know that I am retiring at the end of this school year. It has been a FABULOUS 19 years here! Over the course of my “working life”, I have dedicated my energies into different venues and had chosen to come back to the elementary school environment in order to be a part of the formative years of a person’s life and hopefully make a difference. In doing so I made one of the best decisions of my life! So, I just wanted to say “Thank you!” to all of you for all that you have done to contribute to making Spring Hill ES such a great community and a “happy home” for me and all who have passed through our doors.
I will always be touched by your smiles and acceptance. Spring Hill ES is a school like no other and together we have always worked to build a collaborative team. You have cared for each other with our Spring Hill Cares, parent ambassadors in the community as well as our student ambassadors in the classroom. We have held Parent Universities, Tastes of Spring Hill, and New Family coffees to ensure that all feel welcome. I will always remember how our PTO strove to ensure that all staff were recognized during Teacher Appreciation Week. No matter what the occasion, we celebrated each milestone and at times even cried together as we faced a crisis or loss, but we have always done this creating a network of support for each other.
I am ready to take on my next challenges in my next phase of life and wanted you to know that my wonderful touchstones will always be your acceptance of others, and your dedication to ensuring the best for your children. Know that you all will always be part of my heart.
