A Message from the Principal

Dear Ravensworth Families,

We are in the last three weeks of the school year. We’re continuing to plan for five full days of in person learning for all students in the fall. You will see an outdoor learning/eating space arrive on the grounds during the next two weeks to support next year.

For the remainder of the 2020-21 school year, FCPS will be requiring students and staff to continue to wear masks and socially distance during instructional time both indoors and outdoors on school grounds, including for recess. FCPS will maintain CDC requirements of 3 feet social distance in classrooms and 6 feet social distancing in eating areas through June 15. We ask all adults on school grounds to wear a mask in accordance with this policy.  These requirements are aligned with the Fairfax County Health Department guidance and helps maintain consistency as we finish out the year.

Sincerely,

Erika Aspuria

Principal

Student Placements for 2021-2022

While it is still early to be thinking ahead to next year, we want to give you information about class placements for the 2021-2022 school year ahead of time.  The staff at Ravensworth Elementary works hard to place students in an optimal learning situation each year.  If you have some information that would help us make those decisions, please send your comments in writing to Mrs. Aspuria by May 28th.  Please do not list teacher names.  Rather, describe the classroom academic learning environment in which your child learns best.
