Terra Centre Families,
The end of the year is right around the corner! In preparation, we sent messages to each grade last week with information regarding laptop/charger and materials return. We apologize for the confusion regarding laptop return for in-person students. Please see below for clarification.
In-Person Students:
If possible, please bring your school laptop and charger to the classroom teacher the week of June 1 – 4.
Please note: Monday, June 7 is an asynchronous learning day and Tuesday, June 8 is a synchronous learning day for all students.
If you do not have a personal device at home for your child to use June 7 – 8, please wait to return your laptop and charger until Wednesday, June 9.
Please reference your grade level specific email for details regarding materials return.
Virtual Students:
Please bring your school laptop and charger to the Kiss & Ride lane on one of the following dates:
- Friday, June 11 2:00 – 4:00
- Tuesday, June 15 9:00 – 12:00
Please return materials when you return your laptop. You can reference your grade level specific email for details regarding materials return.
*** If your child has been invited to participate in a Terra Centre summer program, they can keep their laptops until the last day of the program (July 30).
Please see below for additional updates and information from our school, PTA, and community.

Optional Class Placement Input Form
As we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year, we have an optional form available for parents. Please do not request a specific teacher, as those requests cannot be honored. This form can be accessed with the link above from May 24, 2021 – June 14, 2021. If you would like to provide input, please submit this information no later than June 14, 2021.

Required for School Entry:
- A minimum of two doses of Hepatitis (A) vaccine are required: For SY 2021/2022, Kindergarten students must have two doses of Hepatitis A.
- A minimum of two doses of Meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine are required: For SY 2021/2022, 7th grade students must have one dose and 12th grade students must have one dose.
- A minimum of one dose of Rotavirus (RV) vaccine is required: One dose is required for students less than eight months of age.
Recommended but NOT REQUIRED for School Entry:
- A complete series of Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is recommended. The minimum age for the initial dose is nine years. The first dose is recommended for ALL (boys and girls) students entering 7th grade. The parent or guardian, at their sole discretion, may elect for the student not to receive the HPV series. Parent/guardian HPV opt-out documentation is not required.
Social Media Resources for Students & Families
Social media provides an easy and fun way for students to connect with friends, share favorite content, and be heard. However, sometimes, kids (and adults) make poor choices on social media, and the impact can be long lasting. The following Do’s and Don’ts can help ensure students are bringing their best selves to all their social platforms.
