Sixth Grade Celebrations

Sixth Grade Party

Oak Hill is excited to celebrate our 6th graders as they prepare to move up to middle school. On Monday, June 7th, all sixth graders (virtual and in-person) can participate in an outdoor party on the Oak Hill fields.  Mrs. DeVore, Mr. Credle and the sixth grade team are planning this party with parent volunteers.  We will also be offering a virtual celebration for those students not attending the in-person party.  More details, along with an RSVP, will be sent out next week by our parent volunteers Angie Frey, Taruna Agarwal, and Melissa Dolenc.  Thank you to the many parents who have volunteered to assist the planning committee!

Moving Up Ceremony and Car Parade

On Tuesday, June 8th we will be holding a Virtual Moving Up Ceremony and car parade.  We will begin the Moving Up Ceremony with all sixth graders and families at 10:30am. The Moving Up Ceremony will conclude by parents clicking on individual links to their child's homeroom presentation.  A link will be sent to families closer to the event.

We are excited to offer our first ever car parade for our newly promoted students through the Oak Hill neighborhood at 2pm.  Families are encouraged to participate in the car parade with their sixth grade child.  We will be asking grades K-5 and their families to line the sidewalks to cheer on our students!

While on the parade route all vehicles must obey all traffic signs.
