All Library Books Due this Friday, May 28th

We ask all students to please search for and return any school library books by Friday, May 28th.  Students can locate their checkout list by signing-in to the library catalog: https://search.follettsoftware.com/metasearch/ui/103810.    In the top right corner, click on “Log-In.”  On the following screen, select “Log in using your account with Fairfax County Public Schools.”  Then, click on the square with three horizontal lines located in the top left corner next to the words Kings Park Elementary School.  Select “My Stuff” in the drop-down menu and the checkout list will display.  Please contact our Librarian, Ms. Halloran, rhalloran@fcps.edu, if you have any questions or need assistance.  Thank you for helping to gather books for return.

Books may be returned to the classroom and will be picked up by Library helpers, or may be dropped off by ringing the buzzer at Door 1 during school hours, Monday-Friday, 7:45am – 4:00pm.  Please call our Office if you need assistance with drop-off (703) 426-7000.

FCPS Student Laptop Returns begin June 9th

As the end of the school year approaches, we wanted to share with you the procedures related to the FCPS laptop assigned to your student. We will be collecting all student laptops at the end of this school year, so that we may complete our inventory and maintenance on our laptop collection.

You will have two options for returning the student laptop to the school.

1. Return the laptop at school beginning June 9th.

  • In-person students will simply drop-off the laptop and charger with their classroom teacher
  • Virtual students will be provided drop off location dates and times. Details will be emailed to all virtual students.

2. If your student is participating in virtual summer learning programs, you may keep the laptop through August 6, 2021.

  • We will have a drop-off window at the end of summer learning programs.

*All laptops should be returned to the school that issued the computer. To help us plan our FCPS laptop collection, please click here to complete the summer intent form.

If your student will no longer be enrolled in Fairfax County Public Schools, please plan to drop off the FCPS laptop per the instructions above. Also, if your student currently has a MiFi device for home internet access, you do not need to return the MiFi at this time, unless you are relocating outside of Fairfax County.
