We're looking for 3 & 4 year old students!
FCPS PreK and Early Head Start is now accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year.
COVID Vaccine Nearby: No appointment needed
Parent Input for Classes Next Fall
As Dr. Brabrand shared in his recent message to families, we are planning for a 5-day return to school in-person when school begins on August 23. Families who are currently all virtual received a message about the process to apply for virtual instruction if their child presents with a medical need. The deadline for the health care documentation is May 21.
In June, our teachers and principals will begin building classes for next year. Some of the factors that are considered include a balance of learning needs, gender, and peer relationships. If you have information that you would like to share to help us with this process, we'd love to have it. Note that we do not take requests for specific teachers. Instead, share insights into your child's learning styles and needs that are important to know when planning for a successful year of learning.
If you have any information to share, please do so by emailing Ms. Consolla at jtconsolla@fcps.edu by Tuesday, June 1 in English or Spanish.
Many FCPS staff utilize Fairfax County’s School Age Child Care (SACC) programs for childcare. Good news! SACC will be open to provide before and after school services for the 2021-22 School Year. The SACC program is currently assessing center capacities based on health and safety protocols. More information for the 2021-22 School Year program will be available by June 15 on the SACC website. Families who were previously enrolled will be contacted to determine their need for services.

Your Partners In Education
We are honored to work with your family this year and will work everyday to ensure a safe and positive learning environment for your child. We can't do it alone. Please contact us when there is a question or concern, especially related to bullying. As a parent, you will often hear about something before staff might. Thank you for all your support.
