Kiss and Ride Changes

Right hand turn to enter and right hand turn to exit.

Due to the high volume of families utilizing the Kiss and Ride, all traffic entering the Kiss and Ride MUST enter by driving southbound on North Shore Drive and making a RIGHT into the Kiss & Ride Lot.  Also, when exiting, all vehicles must make a RIGHT onto North Shore Drive.  This will allow the Kiss & Ride loop to flow more steadily.  Vehicles will no longer be allowed to make a left turn in or out of the Kiss & Ride Lot.  Thank you for cooperating to allow our arrival and dismissal processes to run smoothly. 

SOL Testing Schedule 2021

May 24th – 3rd and 4th Grade Math; and Science 5 (Virtual Students)

May 25th – 3rd and 4th Grade Math; and Science 5 (In-Person Students)

For any SOL assessments this spring, you still have the right to refuse testing for your child. The Right to Refuse Assessments webpage (https://www.fcps.edu/node/34277) offers information and considerations as you make this decision. If you choose to refuse the SOL tests, please complete the Lake Anne SOL Intent Form.  Any 100% virtual student that refuses in-person SOL testing may take the alternate Virginia Remote Student Progress Test (VRSPT) virtually.  More information about the VRSPT will be made available in a follow-up communication.
