Virtual Program Health Eligibility Due Date Extended

If you are planning to apply for the Virtual Program in FCPS next year, please know that the deadline for families to submit their COVID-19 Health Eligibility Form has been extended to Friday, May 28, 2021. For more information regarding the Virtual Program click here.

Schoology Spring Survey

FCPS is collecting information regarding Schoology before all schools in FCPS begin using Schoology next Fall. 

Thank you for participating in our Schoology pilot year. Please complete this short survey about your experience. Your answers will help us make any necessary improvements as we prepare all FCPS schools to begin using Schoology in the 2021-22 school year. The survey will take between 5-10 minutes to complete.

Please complete the survey by Friday, May 28, 2021.

As we look toward the end of an eventful and successful year of virtual learning, please be aware that all FCPS devices must be returned before summer for repairs, cleaning, and updates.

Please mark your calendar for the following laptop return dates. 

  • Thursday, June 3:
    • All In-Person Pre K/Head Start Students

  • Monday, June 7:

    • Virtual-Only Students who have a family-owned device to use for last week of school

    • All Virtual-Only Pre K/Head Start Students

  • Wednesday, June 9:

    • All In-Person Students (K-2)

    • In-Person T/W only students (3-6)

  • Thursday, June 10:

    • All In-Person Students (3-6)

    • In-Person Th/F only students (K-2)

Kindergarten Information Session

Prospective Kindergarten Parents invited to join us virtually on Monday, May 24th at 6:00 pm for our Kindergarten Information Session.  During this session, you will:

  • Learn about the kindergarten year and the registration process
  • Meet the kindergarten teachers and other school staff
  • Have your questions answered in a live Q & A session

Vaccinations for Children Ages 12 and Up Now Available!

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available for people ages 12 and up. This means just about every middle and high school student in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), as well as some of our 6th grade students, may now be vaccinated. FCPS is encouraging student vaccinations because this is one more way to ensure the safest school environment for everyone and for students to avoid quarantine if they are exposed to someone with COVID-19. FCPS is working with the health department to try to make it as easy as possible for those who choose to get vaccinated to be vaccinated.

Dance Party Fun

This week we celebrated the school year with a school-wide dance party. Thanks to Mrs. Hill for creating the dance mix...it was a thrill and so much fun.
