Dear Fox Mill Families and Friends,
Our first week of SOL testing has gone as smooth as silk! We are proud of all of our students who so worked. Needless to say, Fox Mill teachers are amazing and prepared these kids for the test even when facing all the challenges of Covid-19.
We will not have SOL testing next week. Math SOLs are scheduled for the week of May 24, 2021. Fifth grade Science is on June 3, 2021. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions.
As we look toward the end of the year we ask parents of sixth graders to save the date for Sixth Grade Promotion:
Monday, June 7, 2021
9:00-10:15- Mr. Lesko's and Mrs. Idzenga's classes
10:45-12:00- Mrs. Walther's and Linam Sensei's classes
More details will be shared as the date gets closer. We are excited to celebrate our "graduates".
May your weekend be filled with what brings you joy.
All the best,
Mr. Moose Ms. Greene

Talking about our thoughts and feelings is extremely beneficial for our mental health. Have students repeat the following affirmations out loud throughout the school day:
- I am strong.
- I believe in myself.
- My feelings matter.
