Lunch with Principal Rogers will take place next week!! Join Principal Rogers and the MVHS Administrative Team to reflect on this year and provide feedback on how we can continue to grow as a school community. The meeting will take place Wednesday, May 19th from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. using this link.

Congratulations to the Drill and Color Guard Teams for their outstanding performance and 3rd place finish in the South Lakes HS JROTC Drill Meet on 1 May.
JROTC conducted their awards ceremony and change of command on Thursday, 6 May. Thank you to all our faculty and staff that supported this event! Congratulations to all our award recipients and all cadets who participated live and virtually to make the ceremony a success! Congratulations to outgoing Commanding Officer Cadet LtCol Tatyana Bovarnick for her and her staffs’ leadership and service for the last year. Congratulations to our new Cadet Commanding Officer Cadet LtCol Asiyah Khan. We wish her and her staff all the best. Congratulations also to Cadet LtCol Khan for earning second place in the local Sons of the American Revolution enhanced JROTC Medal Competition. She will be honored at a luncheon.

End of Year Grading and Reporting Updates
A division communication was emailed on May 4th regarding updated deadlines to submit the Pass/No Mark (P/NM) request forms. The deadline has been extended to May 17th for seniors and June 4th for underclassmen.

MVHS PTSA 2021-2022 Board Interest
The MVHS PTSA is asking for parents to volunteer to serve on the 2021-2022 PTSA board. Interested parties can contact Kris Whitridge at: kwhitridge@gmail.com
Open PTSA Officer positions include: President, VP of Events, VP of Membership, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Our elections will be moved from May until June as we continue to recruit new officers.

MVHS PTSA Class of 2021 Yard Signs Orders
Celebrate your Class of 2021 graduate with a custom sign! Display them in your yard with the included stakes, put them in your window or on your wall, or hold them up at graduation!
$15 per sign
All signs offer a space for a custom printed message at no extra charge. Add your graduate's name or an inspirational message, or leave the space blank and write in your own message.
Sale ends May 23.
Orders are produced in batches of 100, so get them in early to avoid delays!
Finished signs will be delivered directly to your home in the MVHS boundary area.
