Coates Families,
This is to inform you that the electric power is out at Coates and the surrounding area. Dominion Power has technicians onsite working to restore power, and we hope to have it back soon. All kids are safe and in-person classes are starting as planned.
This power issue is affecting our internet connection at school. Virtual classes that have in-person teachers may not have a synchronous lesson to start their day because the teacher cannot connect. I ask that students attempt to join their class on BBCU. If there is no teacher, please go to Google Classroom and begin asynchronous (independent) work assignments.
When power is restored, we will send another message.
