Tuesday, May 11 and Friday, May 14 are “catch-up day” for students: Students will have the opportunity to complete previously-assigned work, missed assignments or assessments, and previously-assigned longer term assignments that will not have reached the due date. There is no new instruction on either of these days.
Reminder: Attendance is taken; teachers will be available during the regularly-scheduled class period to support any student who may need additional help.
Testing season is here! Please remind your students to restart their computers at least once a week. Necessary updates are automatically installed when devices are restarted, and it can take several minutes for the updates to complete. If computers are not restarted regularly, it can cause complications during testing.
While the COVID-19 vaccination is NOT required by schools for the 2021-22 school year, many other vaccinations are required.
Effective July 1, 2021, rising seniors are required to have one dose of Meningococcal Vaccine (MenACWY, Menactra, or Menveo). This requirement includes those who choose all-virtual instruction. Parents or guardians should ask their private healthcare provider, or the health department, to review their student's immunization record to ensure that their student has received these required immunizations. Twelfth grade students cannot begin school in August without documentation of the Meningococcal vaccine.
More information on new immunization requirements is available online.
