The Clearview Community Connect

Dear Families,

Tomorrow is an exciting time as Clearview ES welcomes back our K-6th grade in-person students 4 days a week. We have made many changes to classroom furniture and lunch schedules to accommodate the change in protocols, and we believe we are going to have a successful and safe reentry to school. Although we will continue with our concurrent model of instruction for our virtual students until the end of fourth quarter, the 2021-2022 school year is promised to be opened with 5 days a week in-person learning.  What a joy normal will be!

Virtual schooling was an innovative way of reaching our students during the pandemic. Teachers learned fantastic tools to assist students with engaging and learning from home. Teaching students virtually has fast-tracked our learning tools and reinvented ways to engage students. Now we watch our amazing teachers reach students in school as well as virtually with even newer tools.

We have all realized—or have been reminded of—not only the value of schools for our children, but also for our society. Students miss coming and being part of the school, and teachers are anxiously awaiting their students to return.

May we all keep this close in our minds as we start and finally do return to normal. May we not groan on a Monday morning, or have children complain that they must go to school. These might be a reality in dreams only, but in the short-term ,we all know the value of school.

Remember teacher appreciation is May 3rd – May 7th.

With much appreciation,

Clearview Administration
