Month of the Military Child
It is time to Purple Up! In April, we celebrate the Month of the Military Child. One American Flag for every military student at Fairview is on display at the Main Door. We welcome our military families to use this tribute as a photograph opportunity.

This Week's Trait:
Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence
This week’s Positivity Project character strength is appreciation of beauty and excellence. This is the ability to identify and enjoy that which is admirable in the world. There are three types of goodness in which the positivity project focuses: physical beauty (e.g. a sunset, song, or building); an exceptional skill or talent; and moral goodness (e.g. a character strength).
A good conversation starter may be to talk with your student about ways to find and show appreciation of beauty in everyday life. For example, having them write a poem or draw a picture about something they found beautiful this week.

Sixth Grade Fundraiser
Join us for a fun, virtual family cooking class to support the Fairview 6th Grade Class of 2021.
What: Kids learn how to make yummy No-Yeast Cinnamon Buns with their friends in a Zoom cooking class
When: Sunday, April 25th
11:30AM - 12:30PM
Where: on Zoom in your kitchen
Cost: $15/family
Space is limited so sign up now!
This is will be a fun, hands-on class where your kids will learn how to make Cinnamon Buns, gain some great skills and have fun with other Fairview families (with Mother's Day and Father's Day coming up... always good to have a breakfast recipe the kids can make!)! Brunch may never be the same at your house!
