Grade 11 College and Career Planning

A quick reminder that the second half of our VIRTUAL college planning series,Pre-Flight Checklist: Advice from Admissions Professionals” is next Thursday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. College admissions professionals will share their insider tips on finding the right college for you, and what they are looking for when they read applications. Please register for the program here and we will email you a Zoom link to the event. (Remember to use a personal email address to register, because Zoom can’t email a link to your FCPSSchools.net account.)

If you missed the March 22 session with your counselors (“Pre-Flight Checklist: College Planning for Juniors”), you can find the recording, handout, and PowerPoint in Schoology: Courses > All Students > (left side of screen: Materials) > Class of 2022 Information > Junior Program (March 22) Pre-Flight Checklist: College Planning for Juniors.

As always, if you want to talk to your School Counselor or the College & Career Center, they are available during office hours on Mondays from 10:30- 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday- Fridays during lunch (11:30- 1:00). To find their virtual offices in Schoology, go to Courses > All Students > (left side of screen) Collaborate Ultra.
