Student Picture Days are Next Week

April 12th, 13th & 16th 

Missing your child’s school picture for 2020-2021? Barksdale will be taking our school pictures and creating our yearbook again this year.  They will be taking individual student pictures at Hunters Woods ES on the following dates & times:

April 12th:  2:00pm – 8:00pm for students attending school virtually
                                                     (By appointment only)

April 13th:   10:00am – 3:00pm for Tuesday/Wednesday in-school students

April 16th:   10:00am – 3:00pm for Thursday/Friday in-school students

To view photo packages and order, you can:

  1. Click Here to order online or use the following link: https://www.barksdalestorefront.com/shop/login/ and our school access code:  0037427

  2. To order using a check (made payable to Barksdale School Portraits) or cash (exact amount, no change can be given), you will be receiving an individualized order form sent directly to you by email from Barksdale School Portraits.  Please complete and enclose that form with your payment in an envelope and return to school with your student on Picture Day.

Please Note:  No purchase is necessary to have your student’s picture taken during Picture Day.  These photographs will also serve as our students’ official yearbook pictures.  So, we are hoping that all students will participate. 

Students who are unable to attend their scheduled Picture Day:

You may email a photo to the school so your student can be included in the 2020-2021 yearbook.  Please use the following guidelines for your submission:

  • Take a picture of your child with a solid color background (recommended grey or dark blue).
  • The photo should be from the waist up.
  • Photo should be in a jpeg format.
  • Photo should be vertical.
  • Send picture in as "Actual Size."
  • Email your picture to jewechselbla@fcps.edu. In the subject line of the email, please include the student’s full name as it should appear in the yearbook, grade, and teacher’s name.  For example: Ashley Flowers, Grade 3, Mrs. Smith.

Yearbook Sales

The PTA will be reaching out to families in the upcoming weeks regarding purchasing yearbooks.  Please keep your eye out for their newsletter.
