Dear Haycock Families,
We were so happy to have students back for virtual and in-person classes this week as we started the fourth quarter journey together. I know many of you have questions about our plans to expand in person learning, and we continue to work on the many necessary logistical considerations to bring additional students safely into the building four days a week. I will share the details of our plan with you next week.
We are very grateful for your continued grace and compassion as we navigate the latest changes in health and safety guidance. The many offers of help, resources, and suggestions from parents have been appreciated.
This school year has been filled with significant challenges and changes. The one thing that has remained constant is the dedication of our outstanding teachers and staff and their determination, despite the many challenges, to provide the best learning experience for our students.
Thank you,
Dr. Liz Beaty

- We do not accept requests for specific teachers.
- The deadline is May 14.
- We do not guarantee friend requests. As shared above, we will take parent input under consideration but will defer to our staff for final placement decisions.

Information from our Art Teachers
Our clay unit is going to look a little different this year but we want all students to have an opportunity to create something 3-dimensional at home or in school.
We are not going to be able to use the typical clay that goes into the kiln, but there are 5 other options described here. They are just options, and you are welcome to use anything you might already have at home or a different brand. Please pick up modeling clay at school or purchase any of the options by April 26th so your student will be ready for art class. Thank you!
Please email your child’s art teacher if you have any questions!
