Calendar Reminders, School Supply Delivery and AAP Screening

Calendar Reminder

Monday, March 29 - Friday, April 1 - Spring Break, no in-person or online school for students

Monday, April 5 - Teacher Work Day, no in-person or online school for students 

Wednesday, April 14 - Thursday, April 15 - Report Cards mailed home and/or sent home with in-person students

School Supply Delivery

In-person students and students who came in for WIDA testing received green backpacks filled with school supplies. For those students who did not receive a backpack, you can pick yours up at bus stops on Monday, April 5th. Please see stops and estimated times below. Library books will also be delivered at the stops on Monday, April 5th! 

Stops: 

  • Linda Lane and Monticello Drive (1:30 – 1:45)
  • Monticello Drive and Monticello Drive at the Shopping Center (1:45 – 1:55)
  • Monticello Drive and Robert Lane (1:55 – 2:05)
  • Monticello Drive and Computer Lab (2:05 – 2:15)
  • Rosemary Lane and Terry Lane (2:20 – 2:30)

Remember at bus stops: 

  • Maintain a 6 foot distance from bus drivers, attendants, other students and parents
  • You must wear a mask
  • Do not come to the bus stop if you are sick, if anyone in your household is sick and/or you’ve been in contact with anyone who is sick

Spring Screening for Advanced Academics Services

Screening for school-based services can happen at any time during the school year but is done schoolwide in spring to determine services for the next school year.  Parents or guardians may initiate the screening for school-based (level II and III) services by submitting the School-Based Services Referral Form electronically to Lauren Keninitz (Lmkeninitz@fcps.edu) by April 30, 2021. The referral form is available HERE in the “Part-Time Advanced Academic Services (Level II and III)” section. Multiple criteria are used to screen students for all levels of AAP services.  Parents or guardians who submit a referral will be notified by Graham Road Elementary and Graham Road Upper Elementary of their student’s eligibility status by June 4, 2021.
