The 7th grade history team is missing many copies of the novels Code Talkers and Under a War Torn Sky. They were handed out before the pandemic. If you have a copy of these books we lent out last year, please return. There will be a cart set up outside the 8th grade sub school for book drop offs. Thank you for your help as we try to recover lost books.

FCPS Virtual Special Education Conference; Registration Now Open
FCPS will hold its 16th Annual Special Education Conference on Saturday, April 17, virtually. Registration is now available online. The conference will include a combination of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (recorded) sessions supporting the conference's theme: The time for inclusion is now. A student strand will be held for youth ages 14-22.

Media Center Updates
Hello, Robinson Families, Request for HELP! Robinson library is missing 396 overdue library books, and our students are eagerly waiting for titles to return so they can read the books as well. Please take a moment to look around your home for Robinson library books and return them to the school.

Girl Scouts Host Media Awareness Program
Robinson is partnering with the Girl Scouts of the Nation's Capital to offer a four session after school program! ArtsFairfax Hosts Hip-Hop Dance Program
Learn about the history of hip-hop as well as beginner hip-hop dance movements! No experience is necessary. Offered on Wednesday or Friday at 4:30pm beginning April 7 and students may select preferred day.

Virtual Presentations for Middle School Families (MS)
Want to learn about resources available to help pay for college?
College Access Fairfax (CAF)is partnering with FCPS School Counseling Services by offering two Paying for College virtual presentations specifically for middle school families. These two presentations will be offered on April 20 and April 22 at 7:00 PM. A recording of these sessions will be made available for families unable to register and attend by visiting CAF’s website after April 22. A flyer with additional details about these two virtual presentations can be accessed here.
Course Selections/Academic Advising
Parents and students can see what classes your child has selected for the 2020-21 school year by looking in StudentVue. Students/Parents will need to log in on a computer as this information is not easily found on a smartphone. This is not the daily schedule, but a list of classes they have signed up for. If your child does not have a complete selection of classes, please email their counselor (see counselor contact information below).
If upon reviewing this information, you decide to make changes to your student’s course request, please notify your child’s counselor. All schedule change requests must be made in writing and completed by June 8th.

Food Pantry Update
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We have received some very generous donations to help with our families in need.
The food pantry has plenty of vegetables, mac-n-cheese, rice, soup, and beans.
Items needed: Canned tuna, canned chicken, condiments, spices, cake/brownie mixes, olive oils, snacks, peanut butter, jelly, and personal toiletry items. If you are donating food from your personal kitchen, please kindly check the expiration date on the items. Keep the donations coming!!!!
