Book fair

PTO Scholastic Book Fair

Did you know that our PTO Scholastic Book Fair is open for all students and teachers? That’s right!

  • Scholastic has started a brand new way to get gift cards to some of your favorite educators.  The Scholastic ewallet allows you to deposit money for your student or for your child’s teacher.  With over 6,000 items available, what a phenomenal way to support the classroom libraries here at Crossfield!
  • Check out the list below of all the teachers who have set up their eWallets for the spring bookfair.  Any funds left over after the bookfair can still be used for purchases from Scholastic.

Laptop Care Reminders

  • In-person students in grades 3-6 received new laptops when returning to school. When returning the used laptops, please also return the charger. Anyone not returning the charger and cable will be assessed a $35.00 fee.
  • We ask that our students please take care of their FCPS issued laptops. We have seen an increased number of damaged laptops being brought to school.  We have a limited supply of replacements. Please encourage your children to keep their laptops stored in a safe place, and remind them of the importance of keeping snacks and drinks away from the machines. Remind students to be gentle when inserting and removing headphones from the jack. Finally, please restart computers, often. This keeps the machines healthy.

First Grade NNAT Testing Information - Action Required

In an effort to obtain additional information about your child, the online version of the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test Third Edition (NNAT3) will be offered at Crossfield Elementary.
