Wear Fun and Crazy Socks Tomorrow (Friday 3/19)!!

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD), Sunday March 21st, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.  WDSD is observed on the 21st day of the 3rd month to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

The theme for WDSD 2021 is #CONNECT. In 2020 around the world, we all had to change the ways we connected with each other.   As Silverbrook Seahawks, we CONNECT with each other online and in person.

Join us on Friday, March 19th.  Wear fun and crazy socks (even mis-matched socks!) at home or at school to celebrate the ways that we can CONNECT with each other.   Check out :  https://lotsofsocks.worlddownsyndromeday.org for more information.
