Future PES Panthers - Rising Kindergarten Students for September 2021

Kindergarten Registration

We're excited to start the process of welcoming our newest Panthers in Fall 2021. Like so many things this year, our registration will look a little different than it has in past years. We are not yet at a point to invite a larger group of students or families into our school for a meeting, although we are hopeful that we are heading in that direction. For now, we will offer a 3-part orientation for our rising kindergarteners.

1. Recorded Link for Students: On the afternoon of April 7, we will share a YouTube/video link to a brief recorded introduction to our school for your children. Many of our staff members will introduce ourselves to them, share some information about our school, and do some short activities for them to enjoy. We will share the link by email and will also make it available on our social media and web pages.
2. Parent meetings: On the early evening of April 7, we will offer two parent meetings, one in English and one in Spanish. Our administrators and a few teachers will share a brief presentation about kindergarten at Providence and will answer your questions. You can sign up to get a link for these meetings at Rising Kindergarten Event (English), and Rising Kindergarten Event (Spanish).

Paperwork collection: Parents and caregivers can start the registration process now by going to our School Registration Page at this link. This page has videos as well as a list of the five-step process for enrolling a new student at Providence. We are also scheduling short appointments to drop off and sign registration documentation on Monday, April 12, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. You can register for appointments for this day at this Sign-up Genius link. You can also schedule appointments at other times through our main office at 703-460-4400. Please bring all of the necessary documents listed below to your appointment.  

• View the forms required for enrolling a studentin FCPS, such as proof of residency, health forms, etc.
• View and complete the forms enrollment bundleof FCPS registration forms. (This form bundle allows you to enter data once and to have it appear in multiple location)
• View and complete the Pre-Kindergarten experience form.
• View and complete the FCPS minimum immunization requirements.

We are also hopeful that we will be able to offer a few opportunities for our traditional building tours, Courtyard Safari, and meet-ups for our newest students. Stay tuned to our website or on Facebook for those plans later this spring and summer.

Matriculas para los niños que entran a kínder.

Estamos contentos de empezar el proceso de bienvenida a nuestras panteritas que empiezan en el otoño de este año 2021. Este año nuestra inscripción será diferente a otros años. Aun no estamos autorizados para tener a todos los estudiantes o familias en nuestra escuela para una presentación, pero tenemos la esperanza de que mas a adelante todo se normalice. Por ahora para los que entran a kínder les ofrecemos una orientación que está dividida en 3 partes.

1. Una introducción para los Principiantes: En la tarde del 7 de abril, les compartiremos un enlace para que puedan tener acceso a un video de YouTube que ha sido gravado para sus hijos. En el se presentarán algunos de los miembros del personal de la escuela, compartiremos más información sobre la escuela, y también habrá algunas actividades para que los niños disfruten. Les enviaremos el enlace para el evento por correo electrónico y también lo compartiremos en nuestras redes sociales y también en la página de la escuela.
2. Reuniones de Padres: En la tarde del 7 de abril, ofreceremos dos reuniones una en ingles y otra en español. Nuestros directores y algunos de los maestros les darán información sobre las clases para los niños que entran a Kinder, también responderán sus preguntas. Puede registrarse para obtener los enlaces que le permitirán tener acceso a estas reuniones en Evento de Kindergarten en ascenso en  (Inglés )  Evento de Kindergarten en ascenso (Español).

3. La matrícula: Los padres y cuidadores puedan desde ya empezar el proceso de matrículas descargando los formulario en este enlace. En esta página encontraran video y la lista del proceso a seguir para matricular a un nuevo estudiante en la escuela Providence. Adicionalmente, estamos programando citas cortas el día lunes 12 de abril del 2021, de 9:am hasta las 1:00pm, para que pueda venir a dejar los formularios y los documentos que se necesitan para completar la matricula. Para registrase para una cita ese mismo día vaya al siguiente enlace  Enlace de registro Genius. También pude llamar para conseguir otro día una cita al 703-460-4400. Para completar la matricula traiga los siguientes documentos:

• Ver el formularios necesarios para inscribir a un estudiante en FCPS, como prueba de residencia, formularios de salud, etc.
• Ver y completar el paquete de inscripción de formularios de los formularios de registro de FCPS. (Este paquete de formularios le permite ingresar datos una vez y que aparezcan en múltiples ubicaciones s.)
• Ver y completar el Formulario de experiencia de pre-kindergarten .
• Ver y completar el Requisitos mínimos de vacunación de FCPS .

También tenemos la esperanza de poder ofrecer algunas oportunidades para nuestros recorridos tradicionales en la sede, un Safari por el patio y reuniones para nuestros estudiantes
