Student Council Association (SCA)
Are you a 4th or 5th grade student interested in running for an SCA Office? We are looking for motivated, interested, responsible students who would like to commit to a leadership position at Hayfield Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year. We have five officers -- President (6th grade), 1st Vice President (6th grade), 2nd Vice President (5th grade), Secretary (6th grade), and Historian (5th grade). Your campaign poster will serve as your application and must be completed using a digital platform like google slide, doc, or draw. The SCA advisors, Mrs. McLaren-Wood and Mr. Pitts need to be able to print out your poster on one 8.5x11 piece of paper. Campaign posters are due to Mrs. McLaren-Wood or Mr. Pitts no later than Wednesday April 7, 2021.
Campaigning rules -- each candidate may create one poster (see above), which will be viewed by all Hayfield Elementary School students who are eligible to vote (currently in grades 3, 4 and 5). Students are welcome to talk about their candidacy in their classroom morning meetings. No other campaigning is permitted so the process is fair to all.
