March 5, 2021

Reminders for this Friday & Monday

This Friday, March 5 is an early-release day. Instruction will end at 1:30pm. Teachers will have professional learning in the afternoon. Monday, March 8 is a teacher workday. There will be no morning meeting or attendance taken.

Grades 1 & 2: In-person students ready for next Tuesday

Families whose Grade 1 & 2 child will be attending in-person will receive an email with details about arrival, dismissal and expectations for lunch & recess. Please look for the email from Ms. Consolla.

Schedule Changes Beginning on Tuesday

As we begin to transition to concurrent learning, there will be some schedule changes for ALL students in Grades 1-6. And some things will stay the same.

What's the same?

Everyone will begin class at 9:00am with morning meeting.

Grades 4-6 will still have their lunch break from 11:30-12:30pm.

Grades 3 & 4 will still have the same specials time.

What's different?

Grades 1-3 will now have their lunch break from 11:15-12:15pm.

Grades 1, 2, 5 & 6 will have new log-on times for their specials. The times are adjusted by 5-30 minutes. Please check with the schedule below and your child's teacher.

On Tuesdays & Wednesdays, online students will finish up by 3:20pm so that in-person students can prepare for dismissal.

There will be adjustments to some of the content times and breaks. Your child's teacher will share more information. We appreciate your flexibility as we all work through the transition to concurrent instruction on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Masks: What's okay?

All students who come to school must have masks that fit their face snugly. Please do not give your child an adult mask that is too big. Also, masks with valves are not allowed at school. If your child needs a replacement mask during the school day, we can provide one. Masks must be worn on all buses and throughout the day, except for eating.
