In-Person Return to School
Twain MS 8th grade students who have elected to attend school in-person will return the week of March 2, 2021:
- Students with the last name A to K attend on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Students with the last name L to Z attend on Thursdays and Fridays
Twain MS 7th grade students who have elected to attend school in-person will return the week of March 9, 2021.
On the days students are not In-Person, they will continue virtual instruction from home.
Parent/Guardian of Rising 7th and 8th Grade Students
Has your child submitted their Google Electives Form for the 2021-22 school year? If not, we welcome them to virtually visit with their school counselor this Monday, March 1st at 8:15 - right after Learning Seminar Check-in. Student will be given a link during their check-in, but we would love for you to encourage them to participate, as well. Again, this is only for students who have not submitted their Google Electives Form. Students can log into the All Students Course in Schoology to attend this meeting.
Lost Laptop Chargers
If a laptop charger is lost, you will need to replace it through the school. Do not purchase a charger through outside vendors as these could cause damage to the laptop. You can purchase a replacement laptop charger through Twain’s page on MySchoolBucks - www.myschoolbucks.com The replacement laptop charger will be available for pickup at Twain. Twain 2020-21 Yearbook
I'm sure you all realize it has been tough to gather photos for the 2020-2021 yearbook, so we're asking for your help! I have created a pdf to share with you that allows you to upload your photos easily. Please email Mrs. Howard at vjhoward@fcpsschools.net to receive the code for Twain Middle School.

You can support the students and staff of Twain for the 2021-2022 school year by becoming a PTA Board Member. 100% of the Board will be departing this summer as our kids move upward. We need your help now more than ever! The positions are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Membership & Volunteer Coordinator. AVID Fundraiser
AVID is partnering with Franconia Pizza on Thursday, March 18th. Consider ordering for pick up or delivery any time that day and make sure you mention Mark Twain when placing your order! Accepted students to our AVID program for next year will be eligible to win an AVID tee shirt by entering a raffle. Please check your acceptance letter for instructions.
