February 23: 100 Days Smarter!

We are proud of our students' perseverance and commitment to learning this year. It was exciting to celebrate in-person with some kindergarten students yesterday. Let's celebrate that we are all 100 days smarter (and a little bit older)!

The Positivity Project

This Week's Trait:

Cheering the Success of Others

This week’s Positivity Project character strength is  “Cheering the Success of Others”. This is part of the “Other People’s Mindset” series.

Making a commitment towards cheering on other people’s successes can be a great way to improve our own health, happiness, and relationships. Learning to be happy when others succeed can also reduce jealousy and disappointment.

HEALTH SCREENING COMMITMENT FORM

Required for In-Person instruction

Parents/guardians who chose in-person instruction for their child will be required to complete a Parent/Guardian Health Screening Commitment form as students are phased back into in-person learning.

The document indicates the parental/guardian’s agreement and commitment to completing a daily health screening prior to sending the student to school and also to keep ill students at home. These health screenings will be done on an honor basis and will not be required to be submitted to the school each day.

Families can complete this form in ParentVue or submit the form by email to SlFuller@fcps.eduAfter the form is completed electronically, it will no longer show in ParentVUE.

You will find the commitment form and all translated versions at https://www.fcps.edu/return-school/student-health-and-safety-guidance-document.

You may also reach out to the front office at Fairview to request the form be sent to you.
