Character Strength of the Week
Other People Mindset: Cheering on Others' Success.
Cheering others’ successes is grounded in being happy for others when they make progress and then generating excitement when they do succeed. When we cheer others, they will return the favor and encourage us on our path to success. On an individual level being supportive of people who succeed is good for our mental, physical, and emotional well-being. On a group level, when people cheer each other on it begins a reciprocal process that forges stronger relationships.
Quote of the Week: "We rise by lifting others." - Robert Ingersoll
Family Activity: Create a bumper sticker that encourages people to cheer on others when they succeed.

Meal and Transportation Survey for K-2 Students Attending In-Person
If your child is scheduled to attend in person, please take a moment to share with us your intentions for meals and transportation. This is to provide us with a general idea of the number of meals (breakfast and lunch) students will access from school. It will also be helpful in refining our socially distanced arrival and dismissal plan. Dranesville K-2 In-Person Meal and Transportation Survey
