Please Support the FCHS Food Pantry!
More than 100 Jaguar families currently rely on food assistance from various sources, and the need is increasing every day. So, with support from the terrific PTA team at Luther Jackson MS, and in partnership with local non-profit Food For Neighbors, the PTSA and school are working to build a reliable and sustainable Food Pantry resource for our FCHS community.
How can you help? Having a steady stream of incoming food is critical to our success. If you are in a position to purchase a bag of groceries every two months and leave it out for pick-up at your front door, please sign up today to become a Food For Neighbors Red Bag Donor at www.foodforneighbors.org.
This is our most immediate need. The next FFN Red Bag pick-up event is March 6, so we are trying to recruit as many new Red Bag Donors as possible before the end of the month. Signing up more new donors will enable us to help more of our FCHS students and their families. Please consider sharing this appeal widely with family, friends, and other community members – there is a “Virtual Red Bag” program available if you can’t shop, or for non-local supporters.
Thank you in advance! Students’ academic success and enjoyment of their high school experience depends on food security and having strong relationships between families and the school. The FCHS Food Pantry is critical to both.
