Important Reminders

  • Sangster's new bell schedule of 9:45AM - 4:15PM will be in place for the remainder of the 2020 - 2021 school year.
  • Students will not be permitted in the building any earlier than 9:35AM, Tuesday - Friday. For the remainder of this year there is no supervision prior to 9:35AM. Students will be going directly to their classrooms upon arrival.
  • Pick-up of students starts at 4:15PM.  If you need to pick up your child earlier than 4:15PM, you must do so before 3:45PM.
  • A majority of our students will be arriving via Kiss-n-Ride. Please plan ahead, as the line may be long. Please adhere to all traffic laws on Reservation Drive and do not block the driveways of residents if you choose to park your car and walk your child to school.
  • No parents/visitors in the building without a prior appointment.
  • Temperature Checks have been discontinued for students, both at the bus stops and at the main doors of the school.

It's essential for me to communicate the new procedures and policies we will have in place for the safety of our students, staff, and entire school community. We are committed to working with each of you, understanding that situations come up that we must be sensitive to.  With open communication and flexibility, as you all have been doing over the last year, we can work through any situation together.

Thank you!

Allison Jankovich
Acting Principal

Positivity Project

Week of February 14

Humility

This week’s character strength is Humility. You show this strength when you do not seek the spotlight and let your actions speak for themselves. Humble people have an accurate (not underestimated) sense of their abilities and achievements. They hold the capacity to acknowledge their mistakes and limitations, and are open to advice and new ideas. They do not show off their possessions or accomplishments. Developing humility is associated with positive developmental outcomes in individuals. It allows a person to honestly reflect on their abilities and acknowledge how and where they can improve. Humility opens them up to new ideas, advice, and (consequently) abilities that pride, arrogance, or pretentiousness often block. Therefore, humility makes them desired members of a team.

The site P2 For Families is available for connecting P2 to your home and you can learn more about the site here. Many of the slides are password protected and the password is P2 (case-sensitive).
