Book Fair

Dear Woodburn Families,

We are beyond excited to welcome back many of our youngest wildcats next Tuesday.  It is like having the first day jitters all over again!  We will be sure to celebrate our official kindergarten return to in-person learning by posting pictures on our Twitter and Facebook pages.

As we embark on our new model of having some students in-person and some online, we remain committed to maintaining one strong and connected Woodburn community.  Nothing can stop us!  #TogetherWeGrow

Sincerely,

Katy and Bridget

Upcoming Asynchronous Days for Students in Gr. 1-6

Our teachers require additional time to prepare and plan for the transition to in-person learning.  We recently learned that additional days have been provided for our staff.  The dates below indicate what days your child will participate in asynchronous (independent) learning. On these days your child will log into their BBCU link from 9:45-10:15 for morning meeting.  Attendance will be taken and expectations for the day will be explained.

Gr. 1 and 2:  February 22; March 1, 4, 5

Gr. 3-6:  March 1, 11, 12, 15

March 8 is a teacher workday.  No morning meeting will be held on this day.

Health Screening Commitment Form Required Prior to Student Return to School Buildings

As many students return to in-person instruction, parents and caregivers will be asked to acknowledge a Health Screening Commitment form before their student(s) re-enter school buildings. This document confirms that a parent, caregiver, or guardian will complete a daily health screening and will keep their students home when they are ill.

The Health Commitment form can be submitted electronically through ParentVUE (PVUE) or via hard copy. Please contact your child’s school to have a hard copy sent to you.
