Support for Parents Concerned About Their Child’s Mental Health
Ongoing challenges of COVID-19 and school closures continue to have a significant impact on children’s mental health. As an example, according to the CDC, from April to October 2020, the proportion of mental health-related emergency room visits for children aged 5-11 and 12-17 years increased approximately 24% and 31%, respectively, compared with 2019.
You may be concerned about your child’s emotional well-being. This one-pager (https://bit.ly/38k8Xyz) from Healthy Minds Fairfax provides easy-to-digest information and would be a valuable resource.

Graduation day is only 4 months away and the Class of 2021 All Night Grad Party (ANGP) Committee is going full speed preparing for the celebration at The St. James on Graduation night, June 1. The St. James is a vast and expansive sports and entertainment complex in Springfield. They have been open and supporting events during COVID-19 while following guidelines to make it a safe and fun! We absolutely plan to be there Graduation Night, June 1 enjoying swimming, ice skating, sports, Super Awesome and Amazing activities, food and tons of fun!
Thank you to all who have registered your students for the All Night Grad Party! If your senior is not registered, we have extended Early Bird prices through February 28.
