We are happy to share that the school board recently approved Dr. Brabrand’s timeline and plan for returning some students to school two days a week. Those students who selected in-person instruction in July 2020 or updated their choice in October 2020 will be invited back to school on either Tuesdays and Wednesdays or Thursdays and Fridays. On the days in-person students are not in school, they will join their classmates online, from home. Mondays will remain a virtual learning day for all students. We will still honor the choices of families who chose virtual instruction. Those students will remain in an online classroom for the rest of the year.
Our school hours will be slightly adjusted starting on Tuesday, February 16. Students will need to be logged onto their classrooms at 9:45 AM and the school day will officially end at 4:15 PM.
We must change classes for some students in order to match our in-person students with in-person teachers. This has already been done for Kindergarteners. For students in grades 1 through 6, please see important dates below for when to expect to learn important information about returning to school.
Kindergarten Students

Students attending in-person will also receive specific health and safety protocols and agreements that must be completed prior to returning to school. Please be on the lookout for this important information.

We are so excited to see students for WIDA testing beginning on Monday, February 8th. All students expected to take the assessments have received individual phone calls with the specific date and time to come to school. If you have not received a phone call, this assessment does not apply to your child. Please see some important reminders below:
- Students must wear a mask, they will not be allowed into the building without one
- Children should be dropped off at Door 5, this is in the back of the school near the bus ramp
- Students should bring their school laptop. This is a great opportunity for students to receive necessary updates from our school network and some students with older model laptops will receive upgraded laptops.
- Students can bring their own water bottle from home. Water fountains will not be available.
- Please be on time so we can get your children assessed and back to you!
WIDA testing on Mondays has caused significant disruptions for students and staff. Therefore, Masterclass Mondays will be canceled on Monday, February 8, and Monday, February 22. We hope to resume in March and will share more information when we’ve finalized plans. Students should complete asynchronous work on Mondays and log onto any of our online learning platforms:
