Supply Pick Up for Grades K-6
- CES will hold another Drive-Through art supply pick up event Monday, February 8th, from 9am-12pm, for ALL students in grades K-6. Please drive through the Kiss and Ride lane, and we will have teachers outside to hand out supplies.
- If you have anything else to pick up (grade level supplies, library books, fall portraits, etc.) please tell one of our staff and we will bring the items out to you!
- This can also be an opportunity to have a yearbook photo taken by one of our staff if your student did not have fall portraits done and would like to be included in the yearbook. Ask a staff member for more information.
- Other grade levels and specials will be here handing out supplies as well; be on the lookout for an email from your child’s teacher if this applies to you.
- Questions? Please call the office at (703) 502-3500.
Happy School Counselor Week
Thank you to Mr. Kaiser, Ms. McPherson, and Mrs. Kreider for all that they do each and every day for our CES students, staff, and community. We are lucky to have all three of them at our school!

 CES Yearbook Pictures
We are hoping to provide a School Portrait Make Up day sometime in late winter/early Spring, but we are not 100% positive that this will happen. In an effort to provide equitable opportunities for ALL students to have school portraits AND to have their pictures in the yearbook, we are offering 2 options to get these photos taken:
1.We will offer times for you to drive up to the school’s front entrance and one of our staff members will snap a quick photo to use in the yearbook. (This is not being done by Lifetouch, but we can certainly email the digital image to you as well!)
2.For those that would like the option for a photo without leaving your home, we will offer to drive to your house and take a quick “porch photo” to include in the yearbook.
Please call the schools main office (703-502-3500) to schedule a picture or for questions.
We have received requests to share the videos and recipes from the Eagle Eatz Cooking Club. Below is a link to Club's Google Site. Please feel free to use the videos and recipes to engage your student/s in some fun authentic learning.

The only difference between this and the weekly club is you would need to purchase the ingredients for the recipes. If you and your family decide to partake in the fun, please take pictures and share them with us! The link to share photos is in the upper left corner of the Google Site.
Next week, your child will be engaged in activities at school that focus on the character trait of LOVE. We encourage you to access these family resources to learn about and discuss this trait at home by using the following links. The password is, P2 (case sensitive).
