Dear Parents and Guardians:
Please join me in congratulating Xiara Davis who has been promoted to Assistant Principal. She will be the Sub School 4 Principal and instructional leader of our Special Education Department.
Mrs. Davis started her career in FCPS 15 years ago at Annandale High School where she worked as a Special Education Teacher. In August 2016, she joined our Special Education Department. At Westfield, Mrs. Davis has had many leadership roles including Special Education Lead Teacher, Chemistry Team Leader, and Special Education Co-Department Chair. For the past three months, Mrs. Davis has served as an Acting Assistant Principal at Westfield. In this role, she led the planning and implementation of our CAT B students’ return to school and support for our CAT B students who continue to learn online.
Mrs. Davis earned her bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. She holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education and a postgraduate professional license with endorsements in Administration and Supervision K-12 and Specific Learning Disabilities K-12.
Mrs. Davis is married to a Fairfax County teacher and has four children in LCPS.
