3rd Grade Laptop Distribution

Members of our 3rd grade team prepare to hand out supplies and new laptops!

Dear Woodburn Families,

We hope you are healthy and well.  It was a busy and productive week at Woodburn. We kicked off our celebration of Black History Month, handed out laptops and supplies to many of our 3rd graders, and recognized our counselors during National School Counseling Week!  We also received updated information about our return to in-person learning timeline.

Next Tuesday, February 9, we will be hosting a virtual town hall event to share more information about our return to school plans.  Meeting details can be found below.  We hope you will join us.

Stay safe!

Sincerely,

Katy and Bridget

Raise a Reader Virtual Event on March 5

Save the date and plan to join us as we celebrate the joy of reading at our upcoming virtual Raise a Reader event. This was originally scheduled for today, February 5, but has been pushed back. Keep your eyes out for additional information about book distribution and times.  If you are interested in reading in your child's (virtual) classroom please contact Linnea Kessler-Gowell at linneakg@gmail.com

Please Consider Donating to the Woodburn PTA Direct Donation Campaign

Due to the circumstances related to COVID-19, the Woodburn PTA decreased our budget this year and decided to forego multiple fundraisers in favor of a Direct Donation Fundraising Campaign. Right now, we’re just under half way to reaching our year-long goal of raising $12,000 in direct donations.

Our fundraisers support teacher classroom grants and appreciation, enrichment programming, and social activities. This campaign is the PTA’s primary fundraiser and requests a one-time monetary donation rather than asking our community to sell items. Direct donations allow 100% of contributions to go directly to the PTA, and are tax-deductible.

Please consider using this link to donate now. We would be so appreciative!
