Progress Report Card Information
Welcome to the second semester and the third quarter of the 2020-2021 school year. Our students continue to demonstrate growth and learning. Progress Report Cards will be mailed home in the upcoming week and will also be available in your ParentVUE account beginning on January 30, 2021. Please review and celebrate the learning and growth for the second quarter with your child. Your child's teacher is available if you have questions.
Return to In-Person Learning Updates
In order to prepare for in-person learning, some class changes will occur on February 1, 2021. Most of our classes are already either 100% virtual or Hybrid. Some changes are necessary now to keep the 100% virtual and Hybrid classes intact as these classes were formed in the summer. Circumstances have changed for some and we are adjusting our classes to accommodate those changes. Changing classes now will ensure all students are able to become familiar with their new classes and peers prior to returning to in-person instruction for some. Please note that changes to Hybrid (in-person) classes will be on a case by case basis and is dependent on the number of students necessary per class to maintain the appropriate social distancing. If you have questions about your child's placement, please call Ms. Moore or Ms. Vigil at (703) 227-5400.
Students designated as in-person will attend school in-person two days a week and will learn at home online the other two days. This is the Hybrid model. Students designated as 100% virtual will learn online all four days at home. Information letters will be sent home prior to your students return week confirming your child's days for in-person learning.
Grade levels are scheduled to return on the following timeline:
-
February 16 | New Bell Schedule Begins | London Towne's hours will be 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. | Select students return to in-person learning.
-
February 23 | PreK and Kindergarten Return
-

-
March 16 | Grades 3-6 Return
