Spirit Week - Plan Ahead
SCHOOL NEWS:
Congrats to Merrie Joy Hrabak, RVES 3rd grade teacher, who was selected as the Outstanding Teacher for the West Springfield Pyramid! Her name will now go forward to Region 4 for consideration for the Region 4 award.
FLE (Family Life Education) Parent Virtual Pre-view Night: February 11th, 6pm-7pm. More to come.
Snow is in the forecast: We have no idea if Monday will be a "snow day" or not. Stay tuned, but I do hope we get a good snowfall!
Progress Reports: Second Quarter Progress Reports are in the mail and will be arriving next week. Assessing student progress during virtual learning remains a big challenge. We have a number of students who are not completing assignments, so it is very difficult to determine the level of mastery of standards. You may see "na" on your child's report card - which means that standard was "not assessed". It could be because the grade level did not assess that standard, or it could be because your student has missing or incomplete assignments. Check your child's effort grade - that may be a clue. Any questions should be directed to the classroom teacher.
Lending Library: Our lending library is closed for repair.
Spirit Week is Coming: 2/8-2/12 (see graphic above)
